Royal family
Hailing from the royal Pataudi family, Soha Ali Khan is the youngest daughter of the 9th Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan, who was also a former captain of the Indian cricket team. Her mother Sharmila Tagore is an iconic 1960s Bollywood diva. She has two elder siblings, brother Said Ali Khan, who is a Bollywood actor, and sister Saba Ali Khan, a jewellery designer. She is the aunt of actress Sara Ali Khan and sister-in-law of Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Highly-educated
Soha Ali Khan completed her schooling at The British School in New Delhi. Followed by attending Balliol College in Oxford to study modern history and pursue her master’s in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Career before Bollywood
Not many know Soha Ali Khan worked in a bank before joining Bollywood. She was once an employee at the Ford Foundation and Citibank.

Marriage with Kunal Kemmu
After roughly dating for five years, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu got engaged in Paris in 2014. The couple tied the knot a year later in Mumbai. They are proud parents of a daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, born in 2017.
Debut movie
Soha Ali Khan is best known for her role in Rang De Basanti, which is often mistaken as her debut film. But the actress first stepped into the world of acting by featuring in the Bengali period drama Iti Srikanta. Directed by Anjan Das, the movie was based on famous author Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel titled Srikanta. Her Bollywood debut was opposite Shahid Kapoor in Dil Maange More.
Famous short film
Back in 2017, Soha Ali Khan featured in director Aditya Kelgaonkar’s short film Soundproof which was screened at multiple film festivals including the New York Indian Film Festival and the Indian Film Festival of Houston. Soundproof won the best short film award at the Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards and the best short fiction award at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala.
