Suhana Khan 'Sounds Like' SRK, Impresses Mom Gauri As She Explains Changing Beauty Standards

khaSuhana Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani were recently announced as the faces of Tira Beauty’s latest campaign. The three attended the campaign event earlier this month when they also talked about changing beauty standards with the host, Arjun Kapoor. On Thursday, Gauri Khan shared a video from the event on her X (formerly known as Twitter) account and showered love on her daughter.

In the video, Arjun Kapoor asked Suhana Khan about her generation’s take on beauty when she said, “I would like to think our generation believes above appearance, beauty is all about self-expression and individuality. I think it is not about setting unrealistic standards anymore. It is about challenging and breaking them. I feel like we are redefining the term beauty and we are giving it more layers and depths. It is more than just what meets the eye”.

Impressed with Suhana’s response, The Lady Killer actor appreciated her and shared that she sounds so much like her father – superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Watch it here:

Soon after Gauri Khan shared the video online, netizens also praised Suhana and appreciated her thoughts. “Mmhmm… gets emotional listening to our little miss how graceful & well-spoken Masha Allah the depth of her words… she’s so pure! How Arjun said at the end ~ She sounds like someone’s daughter haan, power hai baaton mein @iamsrk,” one of the comments read. Another user shared, “The kids will directly graduate to being like the wiser version of him (Shah Rukh Khan)”.

Meanwhile, Suhana Khan will soon be making her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film will also feature Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Agastya Nanda and Aditi Saigal in key roles. Speaking about the teen drama film, Zoya Akhtar had earlier said, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous.”

The Archies will be released on Netflix on December 7 this year.
