Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently basking in the success of her recently released film Jaane Jaan. The film which released on Netflix has received widespread appreciation from viewers and critics. The actress will now be seen in an unconventional thriller, which has been helmed by Hansal Mehta. Titled The Buckingham Murders, the movie also marks Kareena’s debut production venture.
Dropping the film’s first poster, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Presenting #TheBuckinghamMurders.” Looking absolutely gritty and gripping, the first official look poster of ‘The Buckingham Murders’ truly accelerated the excitement to watch the film. Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the poster caught by two cops, it would definitely be a very different experience to watch the actress essaying the character of a detective and mother. While Kareena is looking truly strong, it looks like the film is going to bring a captivating story of international standard! As the poster has raised the bar of excitement, an exciting announcement will be coming out soon.

The Hansal Mehta film has already left its indelible mark at the BFI London Film Festival 2023 and received a standing ovation from the audience. Apart from Kareena, the film also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

The Buckingham Murders essays Kareena as a detective and mother who, after losing her own child, must investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. She needs to go down a rabbit hole of secrets, where almost everyone in the small town becomes a suspect.
In an interview with Variety, the actress earlier shared that her character is inspired in part by Kate Winslet’s role in ‘Mare of Easttown.’ “I love ‘Mare of Easttown’ and when Hansal came to me, I said this is something that I’ve really been dying to do. So we’ve molded a little bit on those lines, she plays a detective cop in that.”
Apart from The Buckingham Murders, Kareena Kapoor Khan also has Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew. The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Tabu in pivotal roles.
