Varun Dhawan, On Family Holiday, Just Opened His Kochi Album With This Blockbuster Entry

Bollywood sensation Varun Dhawan, amidst his busy schedule, is currently enjoying a well deserved break in Kochi alongside his parents, David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. The Student of the Year star delighted fans by sharing several snapshots on Instagram, capturing serene moments and the pleasant weather, which is causing a stir on social media. Varun, enjoying lunch, was accompanied by close relatives and a special mention of a furry companion named Happy stealing hearts. While the reason for his break, whether due to an injury sustained on set or a planned vacation, remains undisclosed, yet these images have struck a chord with Varun’s social media followers.

The actor is exuding relaxed vibes in his casual ensemble, sporting a yellow-pink shirt with grey shorts, a green cap and grey sandals during his leisurely moments. The images appear to be from the Old Harbour Hotel, a 300 year old property, which has been turned into a boutique hotel. Meanwhile, absent from the pictures is his wife, Natasha Dalal, which left Varun’s fans intrigued about her absence. Accompanying the post, the Bawaal actor kept the caption simple, as he wrote, “A day in Kochi.”

In the sweet pictures, Varun Dhawan can be seen hugging his father, veteran director David Dhawan. Additionally, he captured a moment posing alongside his mother, Karuna Dhawan. Alongside these family images, he delighted fans with a video playing with a dog named Happy. Along with his fans, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Dia Mirza dropped heart emojis.

Earlier this week, Varun, while engaged in filming his upcoming project with director Atlee, suffered an injury to his leg. The yet to be titled film, identified as VD18, is slated for a 2024 theatrical release. Varun informed his fans about the mishap through his Instagram story, featuring an image of his swollen leg. He explained that the injury happened after accidentally colliding his shin with an iron rod. Alongside the picture displaying the swelling, the actor wrote, “Swollen shin banged it into an iron rod.”

As per reports, Varun Dhawan is currently busy filming the remake of the South Indian film Theri, alongside a star-studded cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff and Sheeba Chaddha. On the other hand, the actor is set to share screen space with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Indian adaptation of Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel.
