Vicky Kaushal Lauds Ranbir Kapoor, Talks About His Roles and Performances: 'He Doesn't...'
Vicky Kaushal said that Ranbir Kapoor portrays masculinity the best on screen of all actors as he plays emotions just as they are.

Ever since Vicky Kushal made his acting debut, he won over the audience with his amazing acting prowess and powerful on-screen presence. However, his popularity grew manifold when realised that the actor exudes boy-next-door charm and non-toxic masculinity in real life as well. In a recent interview, Vicky was asked who he thought portrayed masculinity best on screen. For his answer, he chose his wife Katrina Kaif’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

Talking to Nikhil Taneja, Vicky said, “Ranbir Kapoor. He doesn’t underline pain, he doesn’t underline aggression, he doesn’t underline softness. He doesn’t underline anything. Sometimes I’ve seen an actor could play a different flair to a particular emotion, but he plays it just as that emotion is. I find that very rare. I find that very special about him as an actor.”

The clip has now making rounds on Reddit. One user commented, “In every interview, artists tend to say Ranbir Kapoor is their favourite performer or some other praises. Whether its the likes of late legend Irfan Khan or mainstream starts like Big B, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Manoj Pavha or outsiders underrated stars like Vijay Varma, Saurabh Sachdeva and many others from south industries. But this sub’s cinephiles will call it PR lmao.”

Another person wrote, “I like Ranbir. He has given good performances in Barfi, Rockstar, Tamasha, etc.. But the greatest of the generation is a huge stretch. His last few performances were expressionless, reminded me of Arjun Kapoor. Ranveer and Shahid have shown much more range. Although, being a Kapoor, he gets the most opportunities.”

However, one person wrote, “If you’re a part of the industry and well-versed with the technical aspects of filmmaking, you’ll always have only great things to express about Ranbir’s craft. Once in a blue moon do we get actors who understand the language of acting and the economics of expressions so well. Never lacking and never excessive.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir will next be seen in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film titled Animal. The teaser of the film was released earlier this week amid much anticipation. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in prominent roles.
