However, these OTP messages can clog up your message inbox and cause a lot of frustration. Not to mention the time it would take to carefully select just the OTP text messages and delete them later.

Fortunately, if you are using Google Messages as your default messaging app of choice on Android, this problem can be mitigated quite easily by turning on a simple toggle. Let’s understand how to enable the automatic deletion of OTPs in Google Messages.

How To Auto Delete OTPs On Android?

That’s it! Once you enable this feature, all current and future OTPs that come to your device will be automatically deleted after 24 hours. This feature can help you save precious time and unnecessary effort in deleting old OTPs.

If you don’t have the Google Messages app installed, you can head to the Google Play Store and install it from there. And, then once you install the Google Messages app, you will have to go into your device Settings >  Applications , and then choose a Google Messages as the default messaging app.
