JEE Main 2024: The application process for the first session will conclude tomorrow on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the Joint Entrance Examination Main, JEE Main 2024 in two sessions. The application process for the first session will conclude tomorrow, November 30 on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be held from January 24 to February 1. The admit card will made available three days prior to the exam while the result will be declared on February 12.

JEE Main 2024 Registration: Documents Required

— Scanned image of the signature of the candidate. The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format only. The size of the signature image must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

— Scanned image of passport-size photo. The photo should be in black and white or colour and 80 per cent of the face, including the ears, should be visible in the image. Candidates must take the photo with the backdrop being white, as per NTA rules. The size of the photo should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

— Category certificate (if applicable), Person with Disabilities (PWD) certificate (if applicable). The size of the certificates must be between 50kb to 300kb and in PDF format.

— Identity proof like an Aadhaar card, bank passbook photo, or ration card.

JEE Main 2024: How to Register

Step 1: Go to the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the registration link for JEE Main 2024 session 1 from the homepage.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form and click the Submit button.

Step 4: Pay the application fees.

Step 5: Download the registration form and take a print out for further use.

There are two papers in JEE Main 2024: paper 1 and paper 2. JEE Main paper 2 is held for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses, whereas JEE Main paper 1 is held for entrance to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities.

Those who want to apply for both sessions (January and April), will need to pay the fees for two papers and submit the application accordingly. For those opting to appear only in the April session, the application window runs from February 2 to March 2.
