UPSC CSE Main 2022 Reserve List: The Commission has now identified 89 candidates in the reserved list to occupy the remaining positions based on the CSE 2022

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the reserved list for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2022. Those who participated in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022, can access the reserve list on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in and obtain their results. It is important to note that the UPSC Civil Services Main personality tests were conducted from January to May this year. However, the final results for the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022, were published on May 23, 2023.

A total of 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment to IAS, IPS, IFS, and certain other Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B,’ filling 1022 vacancies. According to the official announcement, the Commission has now identified 89 candidates in the reserved list to occupy the remaining positions based on the Civil Services Examination, 2022. These include 65 General, 15 Other Backward Class (OBC), 7 Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 1 Scheduled Caste (SC), and 1 Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

“As sought by the Department of Personnel and Training, the Union Public Service Commission has now recommended 89 candidates which include 65 General, 7 EWS, 15 OBC, 1 SC and 1 ST, to fill up the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2022. Particulars of these candidates are included herewith. The candidates, so recommended, will be intimated directly by the Department of Personnel and Training,” the official document read.

UPSC CSE Main Result 2022 Reserve List:  How to Check

Step 1: Candidates should go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to ‘What’s New’ and click on “Reserve List: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022” link on the homepage

Step 3: Once done, UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022 result PDF file will appear on the screen where candidates can check the list

Step 4: Check by searching your name or roll number and download the page

Step 5: Keep a hardcopy of the same for future reference

The document further mentions that the candidature of the following 2 (two) candidates bearing Roll No. 3534972 and 0828156 are provisional. For more details related to the exam and results, candidates can check the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.
