The ongoing ODI series between West Indies and England has turned out to be a gripping affair, with both teams securing one victory each.
West Indies pulled off a commanding start to the home assignment by registering a four-wicket win in the first ODI. England bounced back in the following game to keep their hopes alive in the three-match series.
That means the team emerging victorious in the last game will bag the series. The third ODI between West Indies and England is slated to be played on December 9. The Kensington Oval in Barbados will host the 50-over contest at 11 pm IST on Saturday.
After putting up a below-par bowling show in the opening match, England appeared in a different version in the second ODI. They fielded first and managed to restrict West Indies to a paltry total of 202 runs.
Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone led the demolishing job, with each of them claiming a three-wicket haul. Among others, Gus Atkinson and Rehan Ahmed fetched two scalps each. England made a positive start to the chase, with opener Will Jacks scoring 73 runs. After Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett returned early to the pavilion, Harry Brook and captain Jos Buttler stitched a match-winning 90-run partnership, taking England home in 32.5 overs.
