Elvish Yadav was questioned by the Noida police in connection with the snake venom rave case. The renowned YouTuber made his way to the Sector-20 Police Station. He made a secret visit in order to avoid media attention. He was reportedly questioned for three hours on Tuesday and could be questioned again today, Wednesday. For the unversed, an FIR was filed against Elvish recently after his name came up in a rave party where snakes and venom was found.
Speaking with the media, DCP Noida Harish Chander said, “YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav appeared before the Noida police late at night in connection with the snake venom case. Police have called him again.” Noida Joint CP Anand Kulkarni added, “Elvish Yadav was interrogated yesterday. Based on the evidence, we prepared a list of questionnaires and he was questioned. If necessary, he will be called again for questioning. Today we have also appealed to the court to give police remand of the 5 accused.”

On Tuesday, sources told CNN-News18 that the case against the popular YouTuber is weak. The FIR has been registered on the basis of a third-party sting operation, they said. Police tried to recover evidence but, according to sources, no proof has been found to establish Yadav’s links with any cartel dealing with snakes or related things.
Officials have called Yadav to join the probe as Rahul Singh, who is among five people arrested in the case and in judicial custody, claims that he and the social media star were involved in a deal. Investigators want the two to be brought in front of each other.
Last week, Elvish Yadav was also stopped at a checkpost in Rajasthan’s Kota in connection to the snake venom case but was released later. “Yes, we were contacted by the police in Rajasthan. We informed them that Yadav is still a suspect and we are probing his role in this case. We told them we will take action once we have evidence against him,” the officer added. However, News18 Showsha cannot vouch for the authenticity of the report.
Meanwhile, Elvish Yadav issued a video clarification last week and claimed that all allegations against him are baseless and devoid of proof. “Maine subah utha aur dekha kaise kaise news phail rahi hai mere khilaaf media mein. Jitne arop mere upar lage hai sab bebuniyad hai, fake hai aur ek percent bhi mein sachhai hai nehi hai,” he said.
