Bangalore: After row over case against Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda's son, there is now trouble for another minister from Karnataka. The Bagalkot police in Karnataka has registered a complaint against Union Minister Ananth Kumar's wife, Tejaswini, for alleged financial irregularities in a trust of which she is a member.
The district court in Bagalkot had ordered to submit a detailed report on the complaint. The police filed an FIR over the financial irregularities in July.
The police say they are investigating the issue and have summoned the chairperson of the trust, who is an accused along with Ananth Kumar's wife.
Tejaswini claimed that she was unaware of what the case is about. "Don't know what the FIR is, I haven't received a copy," she said.
