96. Bargi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Jabalpur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bargi falls in Jabalpur district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,20,787 voters in the seat, which includes 1,15,079 male voters, and 1,05,703 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Bargi recorded a voter turnout of 78.32%. In 2013 the turnout was 74.47%, and in 2008 it was 70.92%.
In 2013, Pratibha Singh of BJP won the seat by a margin of 7,399 votes (4.98%). Pratibha Singh secured 46.48% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 17,602 votes (15.42%), registering 38.66% of the total votes polled.
