BJP national General Secretary Vinay Katiyar and 150 supporters were arrested on the Mau border, police said.
New Delhi: BJP national General Secretary Vinay Katiyar was arrested on Thursday.
Katiyar was arrested while on his way to Gorakhpur to protest the recent detention of party M P Yogi Adityanath.
Katiyar and 150 supporters, who were on their way to Gorakhpur as part of parivartan rally, were arrested on the Mau border, police said.
Following his arrest, Katiyar slammed the Mulayam Singh Yadav government for allowing the state to become a hub of terrorists.
