Congress claims PK Dhumal, his son involved in land grab case in Himachal Pradesh
Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has alleged that Dhumal and Anurag Thakur were involved in land grabbing case in 2002 in the name of cricket.

New Delhi: The Congress continues to attack the Bharatiya Janata Party and has now trained its guns over former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and his son Anurag Thakur claiming they were involved in land grab case.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has alleged that Dhumal and Anurag Thakur were involved in land grabbing case in 2002 in the name of cricket.

"Since 2002, Prem Kumar Dhumal and his son Anurag Thakur misused power in the name of cricket in Himachal Pradesh. They have grabbed the land illegally and it is matter of conflict of interest. 16 acres of land in Dharamshala was given to Himachal Pradesh Cricket association to build a stadium and the state government had to get Rs 94 lakh every year," said Ramesh.

Anurag Thakur denied Congress's allegations saying, "These are all false allegation. They will later apologise for telling lies. Congress has nothing else to do. The land was given to HPCA and not to me personally."

The Congress-led Opposition has already cornered the Narendra Modi government in the Monsoon session of Parliament over various controversial issues involving senior ministers. The Congress is adamant on its demand for their resignations.
