Congress denies ticket to minister from Meghalaya
Sitting Shillong MP Paty Ripple Kyndiah has been denied a ticket.

New Delhi: The Congress on Thursday announced its candidates for the two Lok Sabha seats from Meghalaya, denying a ticket to sitting Shillong MP and Tribal Affairs Minister Paty Ripple Kyndiah.

Vincent H Pala will be the party's candidate from Shillong in place of Kyndiah, and Debora C Marak from the Tura constituency.

Polling for the two Lok Sabha constituencies in Meghalya will be held on April 16.
