New Delhi: Just three days ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has tried to kick up another storm by alleging that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are being tampered with.
Kejriwal tweeted, "We suspect EVM tampering. Tried to meet CEC yesterday. He was busy. Hope we will be able to meet him today.....We urge CEC to allow us to put a banner outside each booth educating voters abt EVMs."
The AAP's chief ministerial candidate said his party suspects that the EVMs are being tampered with. He said he would raise the issue with the Election Commission and appeal to it to allow AAP to put up banners outside polling booths to educate voters about EVMs.
The BJP has called his move a diversionary tactic.
