Two issues have been mentioned on which members want discussions, one on the Northeast student's death and the other about Tamil Nadu fishermen. I have no issues on discussing these two issues."
The Telangana Bill is going to be the burning issue as Parliament meets on the third day of the Winter session.
After two days of complete chaos in the House, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath cautioned on Thursday that parliamentary democracy should not be confused with "obstruction". "This matter can only be put to rest by Parliament by vote. There will always be a member from Telangana and Seemandhara (to disrupt proceedings)," he said, appealing to the parties to let the House function.
Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has said that the Telangana Bill is likely to come before the Cabinet today. "Let's see. It's a promise," he said.
