Mamata, Pranab discuss joint poll campaign

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Thursday met West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee (WBPCC) President Pranab Mukheree to discuss the issue of joint campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in the state.

"We discussed the issue of Congress-Trinamool Congress joint campaigning across the state. We have fixed a plan for our campaigning programme," Banerjee told reporters after emerging from the meeting at Mukherjee's south Kolkata residence.

She said both parties would continue to hold such dialogue in future too.

"We'll inform you about our joint political programme later," she said.
