No one should hurt sentiments of people: Chandrababu
Chandrababu says Congress was ‘responsible for creating the problem’.

New Delhi TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday made a veiled criticism of DMK chief M Karunanidhi's remarks about Ram saying no one should hurt the sentiments of the people on the Ram Setu issue.

"Ram Setu project is important but at the same time sentiments are also important and no one should affect the sentiments of the people," Naidu said.

Charging the Centre with 'bungling' on the Ram Setu issue, he said Congress was 'responsible for creating the problem'.

"Congress is responsible for Ayodhya issue...Congress wants to take political advantage. The nation is paying the price," Naidu added.

He claimed the UNPA was intact and AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa was still with the alliance, popularly known as the Third Front.

Admitting that there may be some differences among UNPA leaders, the TDP chief said that in a fortnight the alliance would meet to chalk out its strategy.

To repeated questions whether Jayalalithaa was still with UNPA, he said, "She is in UNPA and we are in touch with her".
