Imphal: Eleven non-Congress parties have formed People's Democratic Alliance in Manipur, sources in the parties said on Sunday.

CPI secretary of Manipur unit M Nara, a former minister contesting from Wangjing Tengtha seat of Thoubal district, said they were just waiting for the election results.
"We are just waiting for the results," Nara said, adding that eleven parties, including JD(U) and JD(S), have formed an alliance called People's Democratic Alliance.
The leader also said that the coalition would stake claim to form government if the parties are voted to power.
