Section 144 has been imposed in the entire Kendrapara district for four days.
Kendrapara: One person died and four others suffered serious injuries in a post-poll related violence between the BJD and Congress workers on Sunday in Kendrapara district of Odisha.
In a separate incident, a block development officer (BDO) was beaten up by political workers after he was found with demo EVM machines in his house a day after the polling. The mob believed athat the official was tampering with the EVMs which was later confirmed to be only demo EVMs.
Section 144 has been imposed in the entire Kendrapara district for four days.
The second and final phase of poll for Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha got over on April 17.
