Patna: Union steel minister, Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti held Sankalp Rally on Wednesday in Patna, where he formally launched LJP’s campaign for the ouster of Bihar’s NDA regime.

Paswan's rally comes a month after his political opponent and UPA ally, railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, held a Chetawani rally against the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar.

However, the rally was not entirely peaceful. The police authorities had a tough time controlling the rally, as the crowd went out of control.

Paswan said, that his party was an alternative to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD and the NDA.

He accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of trying to split dalits.
