Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that he would get out of jail on June 5 if the INDIA bloc emerged victorious in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
The AAP leader, who got out on interim bail on May 10 in connection with the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy case said if the INDIA bloc loses the election, he does not know when he will get out.
“I have to return to jail on June 2. I will watch the results from Jail. I will watch the results on the 4th from jail. If India gahthbandhan wins, I will be out on the 5th. If not, phir dekho kab milenge (I don’t know when we will meet next,” Kejriwal said while addressing AAP councillors after the meeting.
The AAP leader alleged that the BJP wants to crush his party as they are scared of the work done by his government in Delhi and Punjab.
He also alleged he did not get insulin for 15 days at Tihar jail and adding that he is a diabetes patient for 20 years.

Free electricity, education and health, two crore jobs in the next one year, and giving full independence to the Indian Army to reclaim India’s land currently occupied by China were among ten promises made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, who also said that he would make sure these “guarantees” are implemented when the INDIA bloc is voted to power after the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a press conference at the AAP headquarters in the city, Kejriwal reiterated his promise of full statehood to Delhi and also said Agniveer scheme will be scrapped if the opposition alliance emerge victorious.
Highlighting the example of AAP government’s work in Delhi and Punjab, Kejriwal said, “Government schools will provide a better education than private schools. We have done it in Delhi and Punjab. Rs 5 lakh crores will be required for this. State governments will give Rs 2.5 lakh crores and central government will give Rs 2.5 crore for this.”
