Ace election campaign strategist Prashant Kishor's office on Thursday denied reports that he has been inducted in the national executive of the Janata Dal United (JDU).
"The news of Prashant Kishor being nominated to JDU National executive is incorrect,"his office I-PAC tweeted after reports quoting party sources said he was picked for the political role.
Kishor who had designed the poll victories of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is currently serving as advisor to Bihar government.
The news prompted former state deputy chief minister Sushil Modi to tweet that he should have been removed from that post before being picked for the political role.
Kishor is also presently serving as the poll campaign strategist for Punjab Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh, and also helping the party in Uttar Pradesh where elections are scheduled to be held next year.
Kishor had successfully managed general elections for Narendra Modi in 2014 before achieving stupendous results for the JD(U) and grand alliance in Bihar, marking him as an election strategist of repute.
