Sharad Pawar dissolves Bihar NCP after unit chief resigns
Nagmani was earlier with the JD(U) and the RJD. He resigned from both parties citing differences with the leadership.

New Delhi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar was forced to dissolve the Bihar unit of his party on Thursday after the unit president Nagmani resigned and also reportedly praised Narendra Modi.

Nagmani, who was earlier with the JD(U) and the RJD, is reportedly in talks with the BJP for two seats in Bihar and Jharkhand.

He quit after the NCP entered into an alliance with the Congress and RJD.

The party will contest from just one seat Katihar where its candidate will be Tariq Anwar.

Nagmani had expressed his desire to contest Lok Sabha election but his hopes were dashed after the alliance was finalised.
