New Delhi: After its phenomenal debut in the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party is looking to contest the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. While the party is yet to take a final call on 2014 elections, it has denied reports that a decision has been taken to field Kumar Vishwas against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Amethi.
Kumar Vishwas said AAP's decision making process is a democratic one and candidates are yet to be decided for Lok Sabha elections.
"Manish Sisodia has expressed his view that if Congress party has a young leader of its own then we will also field a young leader against him. In AAP tickets are not given like it is distributed from 10 Janpath in Congress. If I have to contest then I will have to apply just like Arvind Kejriwal did, and if I am given the ticket then I will contest and will end the dynasty rule," said Kumar Vishwas.
Vishwas along with Sanjay Singh and Gopal Rai will meet Anna Hazare, who started another indefinite fast for Jan Lokpal Bill, in Ralegan Siddhi. Earlier AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Vishwas were scheduled go to Ralegan Sidhi to support Hazare's agitation.
But Kejriwal had to cancel his proposed trip to Ralegan Siddhi due to ill health.
