Apple Vision Pro May Launch In More Regions Before WWDC 2024: All Details
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that Apple may be planning to expand the availability of the Vision Pro to the rest of the world before its WWDC 2024 event.

Apple Vision Pro will be available for pre-order in a few days, starting on January 19th in the United States. The product will then launch on February 2nd.

As the media gets their hands on the product for reviews, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that Apple could be planning to expand the availability of the Vision Pro to the rest of the world before its WWDC 2024 event.

For those uninitiated, the Apple Vision Pro mixed-reality headset is currently limited to the United States, and Apple has not disclosed when it will be available in other regions.

Ming-Chi Kuo notes that if Apple releases the headset before WWDC, it will assist the iPhone maker in promoting the “global development ecosystem of VisionOS.” Furthermore, he added that Apple will not initially release the Vision Pro outside of the United States because supply is limited.

It also wants to test the waters in the US market, and see the response. Another reason for not launching the headset is due to the fact that it will have to modify existing algorithms to comply with regulations in other countries.

While it remains unclear in which regions Apple plans to launch the Vision Pro after the United States, reports suggest that the United Kingdom, China, and Canada may be next in line. Availability in the United States is initially limited, with approximately 80,000 units of the headset expected to be available at launch, and the stock may sell out quickly.
