Google has upped the ceiling cost for apps and in-app purchases (IAPs) on its Play Store around the world.
The US is not the only country where Google has chosen to lift the maximum price developers can ask for an app and IAPs. The company has also increased the upper limit for the Indian market as well.
To name but a few - India has gone from Rs 16,000 to Rs 26,000, Canada from $210 to $500, the UK from £150 to £300 and many European countries have gone from €199 to €350.
The update, according to Android Police, made on Monday night (October 26) comes as a surprise for a platform known for having mostly free apps, with the occasional $1-$3 purchase.
