iOS 17.3 Update 2024: These Features Are Coming For iPhone Users Next Week
iOS 17.3 update is supposed to bring new security measures for stolen iPhones and other features that didn't come with last version.

The iOS 17.3 update has been in the news for a while now but the wait could be finally over for iPhone users. It is suggested that the iOS 17.3 update will be rolling out for all users in the stable version on January 22 or a day later next week.

The new iOS 17 update is supposed to be the first major version for iPhone users in 2024 and it didn’t look promising just a few days back. Many iOS beta testers claim the iOS 17.3 update made their iPhone unusable as it was not starting up after installing the update.

Bricking iPhones isn’t a small matter even though it happened in the beta phase where these incidents are common and expected. But Apple decided to act on the problem and stop its release to avoid more people falling into the trap of bricked devices. It seems those issues has been fixed which explains the release timeline of next week.

IOS 17.3 UPDATE: THESE FEATURES COMING FOR IPHONE USERS

IPHONE PROTECTION AGAINST STOLEN SECURITY

The company is working on the iOS 17.3 beta version which has a new feature called Stolen Device Protection which builds an extra layer of security in case your iPhone is pick-pocketed. The biggest security leverage that iPhone users will get after the next iOS 17 update is the use of Face ID or Touch ID authentication to allow anyone else to access your data or even reset the device.

Apple is taking the security level one step further by blocking a stranger’s access to your iCloud stored password which can have confidential details like bank pass codes and PIN number for your cards that help with quick one-access payments. Apple has always talked highly about its security, and this tool could prove it once again for iPhone users.

APPLE MUSIC COLLABORATIVE PLAYLIST

As the name suggests, Apple Music users will have the option to jam in with friends, get them to add their favourite tracks, or even remove the less popular ones. The feature was part of the iOS 17.2 beta version but Apple decided to remove them for some reason.

These are the two features that we can confidently say will be offered with the iOS 17.3 update that is likely to be released next week.
