New Delhi: Preceding tomorrow’s launch of the new Nexus phones by LG and Huawei in India, the older LG Google Nexus 5 is being offered online at prices slashed down by more than half the original.
While the LG-made Google Nexus 5 (16 GB) is available at Rs 20,299, from the original price of Rs 29,999, without any offer, however, with Google Chromecast streaming device you will get it at an astounding price of Rs 15,999 on Snapdeal.
The 32 GB variant is available at Rs 26,377 and if you buy the Chromecast combo offer, it will cost you Rs 23,999. The 32 GB variant in Red is available at a lower price of Rs 24,000 without offer.
Google Chromecast is a media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on a TV to cast content from a smartphone or computer system to the television screen.
There are additional offers on this combination including Google Play Card worth Rs 750 and exchange offer for old device.
An LG spokesperson confirmed last week that the new Nexus 5X will be launched in India on October 13. Huawei-made Nexus 6P, which is also the higher priced model of the two, will also be introduced in the market on the same day.
The first set of Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphones, the Nexus 5X will be priced at Rs 31,900 (for 16 GB variant) and Rs 35,900 (32 GB), while Nexus 6P will be available at Rs 39,999 (32 GB) and Rs 42,999 (64 GB) in India.
