New Delhi: Google has been so far tight lipped about whether it will be introducing its next Nexus smartphones built by LG and Huawei. However, the rumour mill has been abuzz with numerous speculations and leaked images of the purported devices.
By now we know that LG-made Nexus, possibly called the Nexus 5, will come with 3GB RAM, a 2K 5.2-inch display, and a Snapdragon 808 processor when it is unwrapped on September 29.
Now the latest revelations by some sources close to the project hint at more details about the LG-made Nexus 5. As Android Police notes, the Nexus 5 by LG will include the latest USB Type-C port for charging and output. Post Apple’s inclusion of the new type of reversible charging and output port in its new MacBook, smartphone manufacturers have also adopted the design with OnePlus being one of the early makers to include the port in its OnePlus 2.
The phone is further said to be a sub-flagship level device that will feature a full HD display and will draw its juice from a 2700mAh battery that might not be at par with modern offerings of 3000mAh and more, but nonetheless will be an improved segment from the earlier 2300mAh battery fitted in the 5-inch Nexus 5 released in 2013.

The LG-made Nexus 5 will come with a 12.3 megapixel rear camera combined with a 5 megapixel front snapper. There will be two storage choices available- 16GB and 32GB- and three colour options- black, white, and blue.
Earlier leaks hinted at the new Nexus 5 running the recently announced Android M OS. If this is to be believed, the LG-made device would be one of the first phones to come with the new mobile operating system by Google.
