Nokia 6 Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Program Announced
Nokia has announced Android 8.0 Oreo beta testing program for Nokia 6 users.

Nokia has announced the Android Oreo beta program for its mid-segment offering - Nokia 6 today. Through the beta program, Nokia 6 users can take a first look at the Android Oreo update for their devices. The announcement comes just a week after Nokia released a similar program for the Nokia 5 users. With the Android 8.0 Oreo Beta program, Nokia 6 users can be a part of Nokia's beta testers community, following which, the feedback from the users will help Nokia fix any bugs or issues present in the software upgrade before the release of its stable version. The Android 8.0 Oreo update will offer new features for better multi-tasking and usability to Android users, while also enhancing the battery life of the Android devices.

Nokia 6 was launched earlier in June this year at a price of Rs 14,999, along with Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. Nokia 6 is the biggest of the bunch and the best-specced too. It features a metal unibody design, with a 5.5-inch Full-HD 2.5D IPS screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a pixel density of 403 ppi. The device sports a fingerprint sensor below the display as well. Out-of-the-box, the Nokia 6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage and support for a mircoSD card to expand memory up to 128GB. The smartphone features a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of optics, the Nokia 6 comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor, while the front snapper has an 8-megapixel sensor.
