In an initiative to support demonetisation, DIVRT, an end-to-end smart parking management system introduced cashless parking at The Collection, UB City on Saturday, November 19.
With DIVRT’s new iOS and Android apps launched on Saturday, The Collection, UB City has become one of India’s first commercial developments to offer 100% cashless parking.
In an initiative to enhance the shoppers’ experience from all ends, UB City is also collaborating with DIVRT to control 1,600 parking spots at the mall to provide spot allocation and get shoppers in and out without having to wait in long queues and fumble for cash.
Commenting on the launch, Amit Rohatgi, Founder & CEO, DIVRT, said, “DIVRT and the Prestige group share a common vision - delighting the customer from the moment they set foot on the premises to the time they leave. DIVRT is committed to using technology towards this vision - leading to happier people and a healthier planet.”
Shoppers at UB City can use Paytm, PayPal, Netbanking, Credit Card, or UPI while paying.
“This feature will be available at all of The Prestige Group’s properties in the near future, making the group one of the first in the country to contribute to a cashless society and a healthier ecosystem on the whole,” added Ms. Uzma Irfan – Director, The Prestige Group.
