New Delhi: Samsung has launched its set of new Galaxy S7, S7 Edge smartphones in India at Rs 48,900 (32 GB) and Rs 56,900 (32 GB) respectively.
The phones launched first at the Mobile World Congress 2016, come with an always-on display and, as the company claims, also bring the first Dual Pixel camera on a smartphone.

Crafted with 3D glass and metal, the Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch QHD display, while the S7 Edge comes with a 5.5-inch display. The phones come with 12 megapixel dual pixel rear lens.
Samsung has brought back the ability to expand memory with the new Galaxy S7 phones. The hybrid SIM card tray allows users to insert a microSD card for up to 200GB of additional storage and in some select countries, the tray can be used with a dual SIM card. The company has also increased the RAM from 3 GB to 4 GB in the new phone.
The Galaxy S7 draws its juice from a 3000mAh battery while a 3600mAh battery powers the bigger S7 Edge. Both the phones are water and dust resistant.
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available in India in three different colours - Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium. The phones will start selling from March 18. Samsung is also offering a free Galaxy VR device to users who pre-book for the smartphones.
