New Delhi: An artist’s rendition shows what the iconic Apple iPhone would have looked like had it been developed 20 years before the first iPhone was launched.
Bangkok-based Pierre Cerveau has imagined what Apple’s first smartphone- perhaps named Apple Macintosh phone- would have featured if it was released in 1985.
Contrary to the modern-day sleek and touch-screen based iPhone 6, ‘The Macintosh Phone- the perfect companion for your Macintosh Plus’ would have featured the archaic rotary click-wheel that could be used in either a scrolling or a dialing mode. The 512Kb phone would have featured a tiny CRT display and a rear shell with back vents similar to the original Macintosh and a large, 9-pin port for charging.
The artist who describes himself as, “Born in the forest and raised by wolves, I have since learned the human ways,” has given a pretty neat rendition of the iPhone that did not exist in the 80s era.
