Twitter has launched a new feature for advertisers to help them build their target audience among the tweeteratis. Now the advertisers could analyse the emojis used in a tweet apart from words to understand the needs of the users.
They would be able to target their customers via specific emojis and direct relevant offers to them.
This would further help Twitter in catering to specific requirements of the users based on their expressed sentiments and passions.
Incidentally, if you use an emoji of ‘pizza’ or ‘taco’, some famous brand offering the same would be able to display their advertisements on your twitter handle.
Twitter has said that over 110 billion emoji have been used till date and thus offer ample material for advertisers to study.
The feature will roll out to all the advertisers worldwide.
