New Delhi: Verified users on Twitter will now be able to keep their timeline free of trolls and spam posts with the help of a new feature that is especially meant for the priviledged ones.
The microblogging site has started rolling out a 'quality filter' to verified users who use the iOS app that will let them remove abusive remarks, duplicate content, and suspicious accounts from their notifications.
A report on Engadget noted that the new feature cleans up the trash from a user's timeline at the tap of a button. The catch here is that the feature is only limited to verified users- those profiles which have a blue tick on it, indicative if the user is a celebrity, business magnate or a journalist.
Twitter is rapidly bringing new features to its service. Along with the quality filter, the site is experimenting with an autoplay video feature and an option to location-tag tweets.

Well, that's an interesting & welcome addition, Twitter! (Was prompted about this on opening the app.) pic.twitter.com/Ka2VDvqwNf— Anil Dash (@anildash) March 23, 2015
