Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is expected to launch its NEX series of smartphones on June 12. A leaked photo of the incomplete specifications via Pricekart shows core features of the Vivo NEX S smartphone. The Vivo Nex S will come in two variants - the Snapdragon 710 variant is shown with a price tag of 4,998 Yuan which is approx Rs 52,846, and the Snapdragon 845 variant with a price tag of 6,998 Yuan which is approx Rs 73,911.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo NEX S will sport a 6.59-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2316×1080 pixels). The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor (2× Cortex-A75 @ 2.2GHz + 6× Cortex-A55 @ 1.7GHz). On the software front, the handset will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, customised by company’s Funtouch OS skin on top. The phone will be backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will feature a 4000mAh battery, according to the promotional brochure.

The listing reveals that the mid-range Vivo NEX S will feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera. At the back, it is expected to feature dual camera module comprising of a 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors. The camera will have features such as phase-detection autofocus, bokeh mode, panorama, HDR, etc. Connectivity-wise the NEX features dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, microUSB 2.0 port, GPS, and OTG support.
