Tim Cook explains how Apple had been adrift for years and it was the ‘idealist’ Jobs who believed in turning around the company.
New Delhi: Apple CEO Tim Cook delivered a commencement speech to George Washington University's class of 2015, during which he provided little insight about his initial days at Apple and talked about Steve Jobs’ leadership style. Cook discusses Jobs' return to Apple in the late '90s when Apple had been adrift for years, and it was the ‘idealist’ Jobs who believed in turning around the company, The Verge notes. Cook starts the speech on a humourous note by saying, “Those of you with an iPhone, just place it in silent mode, and those of you who don't have an iPhone, please pass it to the center aisle. Apple has a world-class recycling program."
