WhatsApp might bring out the old text Status option on its platform which was replaced by its latest update.
WhatsApp ‘Status’ the latest update on the chat platform faced mixed reactions from its users. The change was big and immediately gifted WhatsApp a social media tangent.
Reportedly, after a lot of complaints from a large user base, WhatsApp is planning to bring back the old Status option in addition to the new one.

Wabetinfo, a Twitter account known for prior leaks of information about the features in the beta versions of chat apps, tweeted on Friday that the Tagline feature has already been added for Windows Phone 2.17.82 and WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.17.6.21. As of now, the feature is kept dormant. It is soon expected in Android devices as well, as per the tweet.

The new ‘Status’ update does not let users keep a text-based Status and also not for any more than 24 hours.
The removal of the earlier future comes as a disadvantage to those who tend to keep informative Status about their whereabouts for a long duration, say ‘Out for a vacation’.
