Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (32 GB) Goes Out of Stock in 2 Minutes During Open Sale; Leaves Many Disappointed
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was up for for an open sale on Wednesday and in under two minutes the much-awaited 32 GB variant went out of stock.

Until this open sale on April 27, the smartphone required a pre-registration for the purchase. But under the open sale, the device was made available without any registration, triggering much enthusiasm among fans.

Although Xiaomi India Head, Manu Jain, had assured that grieving consumers who had been long waiting for the 32 GB variant of the smartphone would be able to purchase the 32 GB edition during the open sale, majority of the potential customers had to again face disappointment.

Users during the open sale on Wednesday could see the 32 GB variant listed, but sadly, many of them found it "out of stock" within two minutes. Not one, but all of the colour choices for the 32 GB variant went out of stock almost simultaneously.

Disgruntled buyers took to Twitter to express their disappointment:

Nevertheless, there were a few who successfully managed to buy the 32 GB model of the Note 3.

Jain in an e-mail response to News18.com had mentioned that the company was working hard to reach a demand-supply equilibrium, and during the open sale, there would be significant quantity of the 3 GB + 32 GB variant for sale on both Amazon as well as the official site mi.com. But it seems that only a handful of buyers could buy the phone (32 GB) during the sale on April 27.

During previous flash sales, some prospective buyers couldn't even find the 32 GB variant listed, and others said that they couldn't add the 32 GB variant to their carts.

What's your reaction?
