Ali Merchant, popular for his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Andleeb Zaidi in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The couple shared their happiness with the world by sharing the first pictures from their wedding on social media. Ali Merchant and his wife are looking royal in their wedding attire. In no time it went viral and fans were seen sending congratulatory messages to them.
In the photos, we can see them posing for the camera. Ali Merchant opted for cream colour sherwani while his wife is also seen twinning with him. Both complement each other. He wrote, “And now we can hang out forever, Happily ever after stars now. I see us not as promises but as privileges; I get to laugh with you, cry with you, care for you, and share with you. I get to run with you, walk with you, build with you, and live with you. I get to have you be the person I spend the rest of my life with. I get to be there for you and support you. As reported the nikah ceremony was an intimate affair. It was only attended by close family members and friends. The couple will be holding a reception in Mumbai on November 15, as the Republic portal claims. Fans swamped down the comment section and dropped red heart emoticons and congratulatory messages for the couple. One of the fans wrote “Congratulations guys.” Another wrote, “Wow congratulations.”
To note, Ali was earlier married to actor Sara Khan, the duo tied the knot on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 4’. However, they separated after a few months of marriage. Later, Ali tied the knot with Anam Merchant in 2016 and they got separated in the year 2021.
On the work front, Ali has been a part of series like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Lock Upp 1’, ‘Bandini’, and ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’. Andleeb is a model.
