The celebrity game show aptly keeps audiences hooked by bringing in wild card entries or shocking evictions. This year the show will successfully premiere its 17th season. Well-known faces including Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Mannara Chopra, Munawar Faruqui, Aishwarya Sharma, and Neil Bhatt are among the many who are rumoured to compete in the brand-new season for the coveted trophy and the ultimate prize money. Bigg Boss 1 winner: Rahul Roy

Rahul Roy who rose to fame with Mahesh Bhatt’s 1990 blockbuster Aashiqui won the first-ever season of the controversial reality TV show. He was awarded a cheque of a whopping Rs 1 crore during the finale.

Bigg Boss 2 winner: Ashutosh Kaushik

The Roadies 5 winner also lifted the victory trophy of the second season of Bigg Boss. He took home a staggering Rs 1 crore during the finale.

Bigg Boss 3 winner: Vindu Dara Singh

Vindu Dara Singh, well-known for playing Hanuman in the 1996 mythological show Jai Veer Hanuman, won the coveted title of Bigg Boss 3 and also took home Rs 1 crore.

Bigg Boss 4 winner: Shweta Tiwari

Shweta Tiwari became the first-ever female winner of the controversial reality TV show and won a cash prize of Rs 1 crore during the finale.

Juhi Parmar, also widely recognized as Kumkum, followed in Shweta Tiwari’s footsteps to become the winner of season 5. She also was awarded the cash prize of Rs 1 crore.

Bigg Boss 6 winner: Urvashi Dholakia

The television industry’s favourite wamp Komolika aka Urvashi Dholakia won season 6 of Bigg Boss. The actress went home with a cheque of Rs 50 lakh.

Bigg Boss 7 winner: Gauahar Khan

Piping co-contestant Tanisha Mukherjee, Gauahar Khan lifted the winner’s trophy of Bigg Boss 7. She took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh after spending over 100 days inside the house.

Bigg Boss 8 winner: Gautam Gulati

Gautam Gulati was the contestant who climbed the Bigg Boss house’s fence to escape from the show. Surprisingly, he ended up winning Rs 50 lakh during the Grand finale.

Bigg Boss 9 winner: Prince Narula

The Roadies and Splitsvilla winner won Rs 35 lakh along with the heart of fellow contestant Yuvika Chaudhary, whom he subsequently married.

Bigg Boss 10 winner: Manveer Gurjar

Contestant Manveer Gurjar was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 10, who competed against Bani till last month. The Noida’s dairy farm owner won Rs 40 lakh.

Bigg Boss 11 winner: Shilpa Shinde

Shilpa Shinde rose against Hina Khan to win Bigg Boss 11. The Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain’s Angoori Bhabhi won Rs 44 lakh during the grand finale.

Bigg Boss 12 winner: Dipika Kakar

Television actress Dipika Kakar played against ex-cricketer and runner-up Sreesanth during the finale. She won the coveted trophy with the prize money of Rs 30 lakh.

Late actor Sidharth Shukla defeated Asim Riaz to become the winner of Bigg Boss season 13. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania fame won Rs 40 lakh as the ultimate cash prize.

Bigg Boss 14 winner: Rubina Dilaik

Rubina Dilaik won Rs 36 lakh. Notably, the original prize money was Rs 50 lakh but the amount was reduced after her co-contestant Rakhi Sawant decided to quit the competition taking away Rs 14 lakh.

Rapper MC Stan lifted the winner’s trophy defeating Shiv Thakare in season 16. He took home a cash prize of Rs 31.80 lakh along with a victory trophy and a brand-new Hyundai car.
