Rohit Bose Roy shared a video of Ganesh Chaturthi's festivities at home and mentioned that Jackie Shroff inspired him for this small-scale celebration.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival of great joy, devotion, and fervour. Many celebrities from the entertainment industry were also seen welcoming Lord Ganpati idols at their homes to mark the festival. Actors Rohit Bose Roy also chose to celebrate the festival at home with his wife, Manasi Joshi.

Rohit Bose Roy shared a video of his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration on social media. He shared a snapshot of a small Ganpati statue decked with minimal accessories and many diyas decorated around it. He thanked Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff in the caption for motivating him to have a peaceful festival at home. In the caption, he wrote, “Got the idea from Jackie Shroff to have my own celebration with Ganu. I love having Bappa home, but not the socialising! So all my friends & family, excuse me if I can’t visit your homes. GANPATI BAPPA MORYAA!

In another post shared by Manasi Joshi, Rohit Roy and she were seen seated in front of the Ganapati idol. The duo was dressed in spotless white clothes, echoing the festival’s purity. Rohit wore a white and crimson Kurta with a dhoti, a classic choice that reflected his ethnic style. Manasi complimented him perfectly in her white suit with a gold border, exuding grace and festive charm.

Manasi also penned a heartfelt note elaborating on her connection with the lord. She wrote, “Growing up in a Gujarati Brahmin household HIS (Lord Ganesha) presence was always there in my life…” The actress added that it was in 1992 that she was truly connected with the almighty. She went on to describe how every significant event in her life was interconnected with the Lord.

Many of their followers wished them back on the auspicious occasion, and some also appreciated the serenity of the celebrations. One fan said, “Normally, I don’t read long posts but yours got my attention. Relate to it and spending time with Ganesha is something which is so precious. Time just flies in preparation, puja etc .by the way, we did the puja for the first time.”

Meanwhile, Rohit Bose Roy was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, but he had to leave the show early after an injury. Manasi Joshi is now seen in the show Kyunki.. Saas Maa Beti Bahu Hoti Hai.
