Watch: Madhuri Dixit Dancing To Ghar More Pardesiya Is An Absolute Delight

The reality show Dance Deewane has been dominating headlines because of the flurry of talented performers along with the skilled judges and guests on the panel. While judging the participants on the show, the dancing diva Madhuri Dixit often shakes a leg with them on stage. Watching the diva perform is nothing short of mesmerizing. Recently, Madhuri decided to match steps with a young participant on the tunes of Ghar More Pardesiya from her film Kalank.

In the short clip, Madhuri, dressed in a yellow ethnic outfit, is seen on stage with the participant. They together groove to the classical dance routine for Ghar More Pardesiya. The original video featured Alia Bhatt flawlessly performing while Madhuri Dixit looked on. The actress performed effortlessly, which made fans wonder why she did not dance in the original music video.

Back in 2019, when Kalank was released, Alia Bhatt spoke at length about working on the song with Madhuri Dixit in front. In an interview with Mid Day, she stated, “I was lucky that it wasn’t a dance-off. Madhuri ma’am could sense my tension; she was constantly instructing me on how to conduct myself. She ensured I performed everything perfectly – from the expressions to the steps.” Kalank was directed by Abhishek Varman and also featured Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. The plot was set in the 1940s against the backdrop of the partition of India. Madhuri essayed the role of Bahaar Begum.

Meanwhile, the current season of the dance show Dance Deewane 4, is being judged by Madhuri along with Suniel Shetty and hosted by Bharti Singh. Madhuri has judged the first three seasons of the show as well. Talking about judging the show, the actress said, “Returning to the judge’s seat for Dance Deewane feels like revisiting a cherished tradition. This spectacular stage is a melting pot of inclusivity, where dancers from all walks of life, spanning generations, come together to celebrate the art of dance.”

On the work front, there are reports that Madhuri Dixit will join Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The actress made her OTT debut with the 2022 Netflix series The Fame Game, which starred Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Suhasini Mulay, and others in pivotal supporting roles.
