Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya have been suffering from Dengue for the past few days. While Rahul was the first to be diagnosed, later Disha contracted the illness. Recently, Disha posted an update on her health and shared that this phase has been proving to be extremely difficult. The actress prayed that no one else should go through such a tough time.
In her latest Instagram stories, Disha Parmar wrote, “I really hope no one has to go through Dengue. Excruciating pain, 103 fever at all times. Worst worst ever.” She also tagged her husband, Rahul Vaidya who is also currently ill. Earlier this week, Rahul Vaidya shared on his Instagram stories that informed his fans of his health complications. He posted a selfie of himself with a cold compress on his forehead, and stated that he had a high fever and his temperature reached 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Shortly later, he shared that he has Dengue.
Later, Disha also informed her followers that she was also ill and posted a picture of herself resting inside a blanket, and the caption mentioned, “Welcome to the sick club!” Even Rahul Vaidya had expressed his frustration, saying, “Wasn’t it enough for me to have dengue ki disha ko bhi ho gaya.” The news of the couple’s illness came during Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival the couple usually celebrates in their home.
While this year, the festival went downhill due to their illness, it was quite a happy occasion for them last year. Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya welcomed their first child, Navya, on Ganesh Chaturthi in 2023.
Rahul Vaidya is currently participating on the TV show Laughter Chefs, where he co-stars with Aly Goni in a unique cooking-comedy format. He also recently released a new song called Jisne Daru Nahi Pi. Rahul first garnered popularity as a contestant on the first season of Indian Idol in 2004, and he gained fame with his participation in Bigg Boss 14 in 2020.
Disha, on the other hand, made her acting debut in 2012, most recognised for her role as Pankhuri Gupta in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. She was last seen as Priya in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 opposite Nakuul Mehta.
