Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Promo: Samridhii Shukla As Abhira Pays Tribute To Akshara, Naira, Akshu

The long-running family drama, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to provide viewers with a fresh perspective as it embarks on its fourth-generation leap. The show has introduced Samridhii Shukla as Abhira, who has a connection with the beloved lead characters of the past. The makers of the show have released a new promo on Star Plus’ Instagram handle. In the new promo, the legacy of the show continues as Abhira’s introduction scene pays tribute to the show’s iconic characters Akshara, Naira, and Akshu.

The clip opens with Abhira’s enchanting introduction, similar to the iconic entries of Akshara Maheshwari, Naira Singhania, and Akshara Goenka. The older Akshara, played by Priti Amin, is also part of the scene. In a serene boat setting, Akshara calls out to Abhira, who turns with a bouquet in hand. The promo captures Abhira in classic beauty shots, showered with rose petals, just like in the good old days. As Abhira turns around, the screen flashes clips of Akshara, Naira, and Akshu, creating a nostalgic moment. She then rushes towards Akshara and they both get engaged in a conversation.

Abhira playfully jokes about wanting a life partner which makes Akshara excited. However, as the conversation unfolds, Abhira reveals that it was all in good fun. The conversation between the two characters continues as Abhira shares her perspective with her mother. She candidly expresses her disinterest in the idea of falling in love and getting married and believes it to be a constraining trap. Just like any concerned mother, Akshara holds the heartfelt wish for Abhira to find happiness and eventually tie the knot.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is leaping into its third phase and bringing the fourth generation of families. The legacy began with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as Naitik and Akshara, affectionately known as Naira. Subsequently, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan stepped into the spotlight as Naira Singhania and Kartik Goenka in the second generation. In the third generation, Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda portrayed Akshara Goenka and Abhimanyu Birla, with Jay Soni making a memorable cameo as Abhinav Sharma. Abhira is the daughter of Abhinav and Akshara.
