Not many men would agree to wear a skirt at a public event. Now a video is going viral that shows a man donning a tutu skirt as he joins his young daughter for a dance performance. The undated video shows the man clearly enjoying himself as he does the simple dance routine with his daughter. At the start of the video, one can see that most kids were joined by their mothers, which makes the man’s participation even more interesting. It appears that this video was taken at a school function.

The text over this wholesome video said, “POV: You’re 6 ‘5, 350 lb Samoan…but you’re also a girl dad lol.” Now it has over one million likes on Instagram. A user commented, “Doesn’t matter what you look like, if your little girl says you’re a princess, then you’ll be the most Fabolous princess out there.” Another wrote, “Never STOP doing things like this for her and your other kids if you have them. It will mean the world to them now and forever.”

Sharing a similar sentiment, a person wrote, “The world needs more dads like this who are actually involved like I would have DIED TO HAVE THIS!! Mind you. My mom and I DEF did something like this when I was that small. And it was hilarious and amazing! But it’s always the moms expected to pick this up. This is not the only video of father-daughter dance that went viral. Back in January, a video from a school’s annual day function, that showed father-daughter pairs dance to the Bollywood song Main Agar Kahoon from the 2006 film Om Shanti Om raked in over one million likes.

This video was shared by an Instagram user named Anuja Sameer Paranjape, who captured her husband and daughter in the video. While sharing the clip, she wrote, “Sameer is someone whom I always say has got two left feet but this came as a complete surprise to us.” One of the most liked comments on this post read, “The feminine urge to see my daughter dancing like this with her father.” Another remarked, “I wish my future hubby would do this for my daughter and I just look at them.”
