Ex-Tesla Employee's Positive Attitude To Sudden Layoff Is Inspiring The Internet
As a part of its recent layoffs, Tesla sacked many of its employees across various departments with sudden notice.

Elon Musk’s Tesla recently made headlines for laying off employees in large numbers across departments. This ongoing trend of layoff notices, now in its fourth consecutive week, has raised questions about the company’s motives. While the reasons behind the massive terminations are not known, many employees have taken to social media to share their experiences. Among them, a former Tesla employee’s optimistic outlook towards the situation has grabbed attention.

Nora Duong, employed as a Senior Localization Program Manager, faced a major setback after her name was included in the list of laid-off employees. Despite being sacked after serving for two long years, Duong was quite positive. Taking to LinkedIn, she shared that this wasn’t the first time she got laid off. “This is not my first time going through a layoff in the U.S. The first time I was ambushed in my regular meeting, where I was about to present an important plan to improve our e-learning platform. I wasn’t given a chance to process and react," she wrote on the job-searching platform.

In a long post, Duong also revealed how she unexpectedly received an email from the company, stating that along with other departments and functions, her role was also “evaporated." She also spoke about recently making improvements at her workplace, further celebrating her Teslaversary.

Doung also shared the things that she misses about her former company. “I was lucky to work across many IT, Software, Technical Publications, Engineering, design, manufacturing, legal, marketing, and sales teams that bring our cars to all around the world. It brought me so much joy seeing non-English speaking users could finally use the cool Cybertruck and other vehicles in many languages, thanks to our dedicated localization work," she wrote.

To top it off, Doung concluded that while she was frustrated after being laid off for the first time, this time, she “smiled."

Internet lauds ex-Tesla employee for positive attitude

Social media users took to the comment section of the former Tesla employee and lauded her positive approach to the crisis. Many also showed their support for Doung. A user wrote, “It’s heartening to see your resilience and positivity despite the difficulties you’ve faced. Your perspective on embracing change and looking forward to new opportunities is inspiring," while another commented, “Well mentioned. What mostly boosted positivity is ‘Mom just got laid off…..but I believe something just wonderful will happen’. Kids will embed it in their life as warriors."

“You are really awesome! Love life and be unyielding. I believe you will succeed," another one wrote.

In the meantime, many inspiring stories of the employees are on the internet, as they portray a picture of resilience and strong willpower.
