During his lunch break in Florida, a local resident named Scott Greenberg stumbled upon a truly bizarre scene that left him puzzled. He spotted an SUV resting perfectly on top of a dumpster. Stunned by the sight, he quickly texted a friend, after he felt unsure if he was seeing things correctly. The video shared by NBC 2 news showed the SUV parked in an unusual spot, which initially left everyone scratching their heads. It turns out, the vehicle was parked at a construction site and one of the workers had used a forklift to move the SUV and place it on the dumpster.
Greenberg, who recorded the unusual sight, told the portal, “I was on lunch break, just driving down the street and then I had to do a double take. I texted my buddy. I’m like, am I seeing a car on top of a dumpster? Like, are you serious? Oh my god. Is that fair game? Is that free? It’s in the dumpster. I wasn’t sure. On the way back I stopped to take a little video. Prank gone wrong? Parked in the wrong spot? I honestly have no idea."
As per the portal, construction workers explained that the SUV was parked in a spot that blocked their work, so one of them used a forklift to move it out of the way. A worker commented that parking in the wrong place can lead to surprising situations like this. Later that day, the SUV was returned to a regular parking spot and it appeared completely undamaged. One of the workers mentioned that the vehicle belongs to a contractor who provides it to workers coming for the job from outside, so that they avoid renting a car.
In several countries, poor parking can lead to hefty fines, but in some areas of China, they’ve introduced a system to expose drivers who ignore parking rules. Instead of traditional penalties, they place large suction cups on the cars of those who park incorrectly. These devices don’t prevent the vehicles from moving, but it is introduced to embarrass drivers for their bad habits.

The device, which has a GPS and a timer to track how long the system has been attached to the driver’s door, helps the government in calculating the penalty. The suction cup can only be removed once the driver pays the fine.
